Ruthlessly honest communication is a maturing process that often involves:

risking and letting go ego- driven paradigms, points of view and fear-based assumptions
knowing who you really are – personally and corporately
giving up the need to win and beat them to prove you’re OK
embracing others’ opinions and perceptions
standing your ground – not selling out your integrity for payoffs
saying what is from the highest perspective you can muster
being non-judgmental
trusting your own inner resources to handle unpredictable outcomes
trusting the integrity of others to behave with honour

If a communication does not ultimately empower everyone concerned, it does not yet qualify as ruthlessly honest!
