Microscopic changes: thinking big by thinking small
"The journey of a thousand miles starts with one small email" - Confucius Smith
The powerful principle of 'microscopic changes' is like shooting for the stars. If I aimed my spaceship at Mars, even the tiniest change of angle measured on Earth, by the time I was well on my journey, would either cause me to hit the target or miss by millions of miles.
Personal, let alone cultural, transformation can seem like an overwhelming journey. This principle says, 'think really big, really long term (some Japanese companies have a 100 year vision) and take underwhelming steps towards it - defy the irrationality and 'unreasonableness' of the idea'.
Make sure, though, you have an outstanding support system in place!
