FAQ's

1. “In a paragraph, what is your area of expertise?”

Assisting people, through transformational coaching and team facilitation, to discover a deeper truth within them. Through this they can develop themselves, their leadership and their businesses in authentic, sustainable ways – so they can be the best they can be and achieve greater goals than they currently imagine possible.

2. “Why now – why is your specialism of particular interest and relevance to people today?”

Fear and all strategies emanating from it are unsustainable. Most people and most corporate strategies are predicated on fear. There is a glut of ‘coaches, developers and NLP-ers’ out there who all ‘talk the talk’. Yet many often don’t really appreciate the fear-driven nature of most economic theory and strategic thought. Consequently they are unable to recognise how to fully assist their clients to deliver authentic, sustainable results.

3. “Are you the first in your field, the only person in your field or one of many?”

Hardly! But I am the first in the UK to use horse whispering as a catalyst for people to discover their truth and overcome fears. Since I began doing this work and writing about it, quite a significant movement has begun, here, in Europe and the USA. Check out: www.eahae.org and www.egea.org .

4. Why exactly is it you use horses? Why not dogs or cats?

I love horses with a passion. Dogs and cats are wonderful, but they are fellow predators with man. Think about it, apart from during sex or fighting, when else to we get so totally physically involved and connected with another being? Horses do not trust, respect, understand and follow us if we use force or are in fear. Paradoxically by being so ‘un-human’ they teach us to be less ‘in-human’, more authentically and resourcefully human.

5. “Why you – how does your approach differ from others?”

I have developed a unique, powerful and compelling model: The TRU&E Solution. Its premise is that Trust, Respect & Understanding are the cornerstones of the Energy we call confidence and enthusiasm. I have found a powerful new way to bring this alive.

6. “In a typical workshop, what would three objectives be and what methods would you use to achieve them?”

Awareness of the distinction between the ‘true’ and ‘false’ selves – personally and corporately. Accessing the wisdom from the ‘true’ self. Identifying and committing to practical steps towards more authentic leadership. I’d use a combination of presentations, small group and 1-2-1 exercises.

7. “Do I need any experience with horses?

It makes very little difference. We’ve had top riders and those utterly terrified of horses come here. We tailor all exercises to fit your experience levels and needs.
